2008/2009 JCR SCI Impact Factor released

Today the latest version of 2008/2009 SCI Impact Factor (Science Citation Index) has been launched out from JCR of ISI Web of Knowledge.

This year 2 new indexes are taken into consideration in the SCI citation analysis, namely “Eigenfactor Score” and “Article Influence”. The journal performance in developmental biology has a bit of changes as in other research fields. The impact factor of Genes and Development ranks top in the scholarly journals of developmental biology.

You can directly check ISI Web of Knowledge with a new session if necessary at http://admin-apps.isiknowledge.com/JCR/JCR, for more information about the Journal Citation Reports, you can also try this link here at ISI web tools for more scientific details.

There is another way for obtaining the last impact factors?

  when you check that site, it may display like:
  
  Thank you for using ISI Web of Knowledge.
  You do not have a session.
  You will need to establish a new session if you wish to continue.
  
  So, just click “establish a new session” to choose your specific journal category to inquiry the impact factor of your interests.

  Check it out directly at the website of ISI JCR given above to inquire the Impact Factor of your reseach field, and extract the IF data to save as filetype like Excel or PDF version for your convenience. My apologize for that the transmission or the download of the Impact Factor file is not allowed due to copyright ownership of the Thomson Reuters (Scientific) Inc..
